As well as being
shaped by bureaucratically codified state regulations, architecture is also fundamentally
conditioned by the regions cultural history. Architecture has a thriving counterfeit culture which is a
lucrative means of cultural promotion, it is a
piece of public art, a design of socially meaningful form and meaning.
